MOTOR CONTROL AND PROTECTION
Variable frequency drives where precision speed control, minimal inrush current and advanced motor protection are required.
Harmonic mitigation and filters: Ensure system harmonics meet IEEE 519 and don’t cause damage to the rest of the electrical system.
Reduced voltage soft starters where constant speed is acceptable, but inrush current needs managed to meet utility standards or extend motor life.
Across-the-line (full voltage) motor starters where high inrush and constant speed is suitable.
Electromechanical relay control schematics or PLC based control narratives
Motor protection relays: detect power faults on the motor circuit.
RTD monitoring: detect excessive thermal conditions within motors and pump bearings.
